Dec. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Bombardier Recreational Products Inc., the maker of Ski-Doo snowmobiles and Sea-Doo watercraft, said it will cut 980 jobs and reduce annual production by 20 percent to adjust to the slump in consumer spending. The reductions involve 550 office jobs and 430 factory positions, according to a statement today from the Valcourt, Quebec-based company, which trimmed 370 manufacturing jobs in the quarter that ended in October.
